OEM Data Feeds
Integrate John Deere's JDLink telematics into Hapn for real-time visibility into your green fleet. Track machine health, hours, and location from the same platform you use for your entire operation.
Overview
Hapn integrates with John Deere Operations Center over Deere's ISO 15143-3 (AEMP 2.0) API, bringing JDLink-connected machines into the same platform you use for the rest of your fleet. JDLink connectivity is free to activate on supported Deere equipment, so for most fleets the data already exists — it just needs somewhere useful to go.
Because the feed comes through Operations Center, it can also cover Wirtgen Group machines (Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann) that report into the same organization.
Details
Through the standard feed, Hapn pulls:
- Location and speed for every active JDLink machine in your organization.
- Total operating hours and idle hours for utilization and service planning.
- Engine status, fuel level, and total fuel used.
- DEF tank level, battery voltage, and distance traveled.
Inside Hapn, that data drives zones and arrival/departure alerts, utilization reporting, and maintenance scheduling — alongside every other brand in your fleet, and onward into your rental management software if you run one.
Data Info
You'll need JDLink-enabled machines with connectivity activated (Deere no longer charges for JDLink activation) and a John Deere Operations Center organization. API access is granted through your Deere account — credentials come from your John Deere representative — and you stay in control of that access at all times.
Deere refreshes its standard API roughly hourly, so expect near-hourly data freshness rather than second-by-second tracking. Fleets that need real-time visibility on critical assets often pair the Deere feed with Hapn hardware.
