OEM Data Feeds
Connect Komatsu's KOMTRAX system to Hapn and centralize your fleet data. Get automated alerts, fuel consumption insights, and location tracking for every connected Komatsu asset.
Overview
Hapn connects to Komatsu's Komtrax telematics over the ISO 15143-3 (AEMP 2.0) standard, bringing your Komatsu machines into the same dashboard as the rest of your fleet. Komtrax comes factory-fitted on modern Komatsu equipment at no extra cost, so the machine data already exists — Hapn puts it to work.
Your Komatsu assets appear alongside other OEM brands and Hapn-tracked equipment, with one set of zones, alerts, and utilization reports across the whole fleet.
Details
Over the standard feed, Hapn ingests the machine data Komatsu publishes, including:
- Location for every connected asset.
- Total operating hours and idle hours for utilization and service planning.
- Fuel level, total fuel used, and fuel used over the last 24 hours.
- DEF remaining and distance traveled.
- Fault codes and cumulative payload totals, where the machine reports them.
Combined with Hapn's zones, alerts, and maintenance tools, that gives you one operational picture of your Komatsu fleet — and the data can flow into your rental management platform too.
Data Info
You'll need Komtrax-equipped Komatsu machines with the system activated. API credentials for the AEMP 2.0 feed are issued by Komatsu — requested through Komtrax support or your Komatsu distributor — and the Hapn team uses them to bring your fleet online.
Exact data availability varies by machine model and Komtrax generation — talk to us and your Komatsu representative to confirm coverage for your specific fleet.
